March Madness

The month of March brought basketball, basketball, and more basketball to the Pomeroy household! We went to several games cheering on the Notre Dame girls (Auntie Sara's team), the Pulaski boys (school Colin works for and used to coach at), and the Michigan Wolverines! Two State Champions and a National Runner-up - not too shabby for being a fan!!

We went to all of Auntie Sara's games - the kids were loving it! They got to see Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt, Uncles, Henry, and friends several weekends in a row, got to run around the gym, and eat treats from the concession stand - what's not to love?!

Cotton candy - messy treat!

Wisconsin's Division 2 state champion coach and 2013 Coach of the Year in the state!!!

The state champion coaching team!

The boys team from the school Colin works at now and coached at before also won D2 for boys, so Colin went to most of their tournament games too. He and I made a day-trip to Madison to watch them in state semi-finals and then Colin stayed to watch them win state. Way to go Pulaski boys!

And last, but not least - Michigan! After they won their first Final Four game, Colin, Mike, and Andy jumped in the car and drove 15 hours to Atlanta to watch them in the National Championship! Well they didn't win, but the road trip and b-ball watching will definitely have lasting memories for these boys!

Daddy-Daughter Dance

In early March, a local high school put on a Daddy-Daughter Dance as a fundraiser. Colin and Ellie went along with two of our neighbors and their daughters. Ellie declared this the 'best day ever'! She had so much fun getting dressed up and going to the dance with Daddy and her friends. The girls danced, did crafts, got princess crowns, got nails painted, and much more! The high school really did a nice job with it. Here are shots of the happy crew before heading to the dance =)

Ellie posing in her new dress. She let me curl and French braid her hair too. She was so excited for this =) Check out little brother in the background too.

With her sweater on too

Ellie and Sydney - these two are very good buddies!

Ellie and Daddy again - I love how she's standing in this picture. Sassy girl! =)

And all the Dads now too...Colin and Ellie, Brenden and Sydney, and Rob and Avery...off to the dance they go! Such good Dads!
