House Update

Just a quick update on the house; unfortunately, I spoke too soon in my last post. The offer on our buyer's house fell through yesterday due to issues that came up in the home inspection. They're now taking their house off the market to address the issues. So, unless we have a new buyer/offer come along in the next 2 weeks we won't be moving (and we'll lose the house we made an offer on). We said from the beginning that if our house didn't sell by Nov. 30th we would take it off the market until after baby girl was here. Don't want the stress of moving over the holidays or take the chance and then baby girl wants to come earlier than Feb. 6th. We're obviously disappointed with everything, but knew this could happen. We were just SO close which makes it that much worse. We need to meet with our realtor this weekend, but we'll likely plan to list our house again early next Spring - just kind of see how things go from here. One positive is that the buyers we had this time REALLY don't want to lose our house, and they're extending their contract so that when we do list again, we'll already one offer on the table. They just need to address the issues with their house so it can be sold. So, for everyone that's offered to help us move - thank you - but we'll likely be taking a rain-check 'til next Spring. We'll need you even more at that point! Until then, get ready for the holidays and baby girl!!
