A Trip to the Zoo

A couple weekends ago, Colin and I took the kids to the zoo. We all had a great time seeing the animals and then having lunch out after. It was a fun family outing on a hot summer day =)

The giraffe! Emmit wanted to throw the leaves at him to avoid getting too close, but Ellie let him eat out of her hand =)

The macaws - probably the kids' most favorite! These funny birds were talking up a storm to us =)

The kids also really loved the random chipmunks running around the zoo - those were almost as exciting as the animals at the zoo themselves! =) After looking at the animals we went on a train ride for one last look.
