Ellie is 6!

At 6 years old Ellie is smart, witty, caring, fun, creative, and compassionate. She loves playing with and taking care of the little kids, but at the same time can hold her own with the big kids. She loves everything about school and seems to learn new things very easily. Her favorite subjects are math, reading, and art. She's a 'girly girl' wanting to wear skirts a lot, get her nails done, wear make-up, and accessorize with bracelets and necklaces. Ellie's recently learned to swim and can go in the deep water now without any help. She's also learning to read, and can read many books on her own. She can color for hours often leaving a mess of markers, crayons, and paper on the kitchen table. She loves to clean her room - make her bed, organize her drawers and closet, and make sure all her things are in just the right place. (She does not get this characteristic from her Mom!) She enjoys playing with friends at school and in the neighborhood and is wanting to be more and more independent every day. She's determined to have a sleepover with friends this summer! She's still very tall amongst her friends and has lost 4 teeth already too. She is a joy in our lives - we love her so much!
