Happy 4th!

We had a nice 4th of July weekend in Michigan with family. This was probably our last trip home until after Baby Boy arrives, so we packed a lot in. We headed up Thursday night to spend a couple days with Grandma and Grandpa Pomeroy. Ellie had lots of fun playing, taking baths (apparently Grandma's tub is MUCH more fun than ours at home lately), and just hanging around the house. On Saturday morning we headed to Trenary for the big 4th of July parade. I don't remember ever NOT going to this parade...it's probably the shortest parade on Earth, but the Holmquist Feedmill is well represented with all of us in our shirts. Ellie also had A LOT of fun! She and 2nd cousin Hailey caught lots of candy AND ate lots of candy! After the parade, we had our annual bbq, bean bag, and fireworks at my parents with a lot of my extended family, and on Sunday my Mom and sisters had a nice little mini shower/brunch for us which was really nice. We got some nice gifts for Baby Boy which were very much appreciated. All-in-all, it was another fun trip home! It was the first year in a long time that we didn't take the entire week off, but we still managed to get a lot into 3 1/2 days. Most of the pictures are from the parade...the video is classic =)

I mentioned before how Ellie likes to dance. Well that doesn't exclude in the car - she likes to shake it in her carseat when a good song comes on. Here she is bobbing along to Beyonce on our way to the parade.
