Last weekend we had the whole Boyer clan here along with Suzy, Julianna, and Suzy's Mom, Linda, for Ellie and Grandpa Boyer's party. Ellie was very excited about opening presents, princess balloons, and eating cake!
Reading her twinkling Tinkerbell card from Grandma! Ellie loved this, and is still looking at it a week later!
First present!
It was a princess birthday for Ellie. She got new dresses, a scooter, multiple accessories, a Barbie, a tent...she is truly a princess right now!
Julianna joining the dress-up fun!
A cute one of Suzy and Julianna =)
The princess cake...I didn't get a pic before Ellie started sticking candles in! =)
Happy Birthday Ellie! Poor Henry didn't like all the loud noise!
Emmit cuddling with Steph and Mike on the couch
Princess scooter
Emmit loved the cake too!
Happy Henry!
Henry taking some wobbly steps! He's getting so big!
Birthday Girl!
Ellie's birthday was on Monday then, so I took a day off, and we spent it having some fun. Our morning started with breakfast at the 'Brownie Store' (aka Atlanta Bread Company). When Emmit used to go to his nanny, the house he went to was right near Atlanta Bread, so Ellie and I got into this routine of swinging in there every now and then for a little breakfast treat after dropping Emmit off. They have little brownie bites which Ellie would always get a sample of, so she always called it the 'Brownie Store'. We did this for quite some time, and the store manager actually knew us both by name which is pretty funny. So, that's what we did on birthday morning then, and sure enough, the store manager remembered Ellie and gave her a whole container of brownie bites to take home! She was VERY excited!
After breakfast we went to Target where Ellie got to pick out some new things with the birthday money she had received. She picked a new baby along with a baby accessories kit which she's been playing with A LOT! After a little shopping, we met our neighbors at Monkey Joes to burn off a lot of energy! Ellie LOVES Monkey Joes, and it was awesome being there on a Monday morning (first ones at opening) - we had the whole place to ourselves! Ellie and Sydney had lots of fun playing together, and then we got McDonalds happy meals after for lunch! What a full birthday morning! That afternoon, Ellie was going to get pictures taken, but after the full morning we had, she wasn't in the mood (and neither was I!) so we rescheduled, picked up Emmit, and just played the rest of the day at home. What a fun birthday and a great start to my week too! =)
Loving the new baby she picked out and waiting for Monkey Joes to open!
Monkey Joes has all kinds of fun things to do - slides, bounce houses, and many other things to climb and jump on. This is pretty much all the pictures I got as Ellie was RUNNING from one thing to another and I was chasing behind!
She thought this horse was really funny along with some of the weird arcade games!
Going down the slides!
This weekend then, Grandma & Grandpa Pomeroy and cousin Max came down for some more birthday fun. Ellie and Max had A LOT of fun playing together all weekend long, so I'll post more of that seperate, but Saturday we had birthday dinner, cake, and singing again. This time for Ellie and Grandpa Pomeroy. Colin's Uncle Mark and Aunt Gayle also came over so it was nice to see them after a very long time too.
More presents! Max & Ruby dolls - Ellie's FAVORITE show! Ellie has several 'favorite' shows, but this one's definitely at the top!
And a fun new Dora guitar from Grandma and Grandpa! This was the toy to fight over all weekend long!
An ice cream cake from Coldstone - yum!
Dig in!
Happy Birthday again! I think Ellie will definitely say that 3 was a birthday to remember! =)
