Easter Weekend Fun

In addition to the Easter Bunny bringing lots and lots of treats, our Easter weekend was full of lots of other fun too! The Saturday night before Easter, Sara was inducted into the UP Sports Hall of Fame in recognition of her all-star basketball playing days! The banquet was really nice and all the inductees' speeches were great! Sara was the first athlete to have received a scholarship from the Hall of Fame as a high school senior, and then be inducted into the Hall of Fame as well! Congrats sister - we are very proud of you and loved watching you play!

And more good news too...just this past week Sara and Matt got engaged! We're very excited to have another family wedding ahead of us and to welcome another brother to the family! Love these two!

And Colin and I =) The kids stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Pomeroy's so it as a nice night out for us =)



Easter morning was beautiful and we had some time to spare, so we played outside a bit. Colin asked Ellie if we should go for a walk, and her response was, 'we should go on a safari!', so that we did! After playing in the sand and walking the woods, the kids were all dirty for more Easter festivities, but oh well =)











Colin hitched a ride home with Steph and Mike, so the kids and I stayed an extra day just to hang out at my parents. The Monday after Easter was another beautiful day, and we were outside enjoying the sun. The kids were just in their pjs running around and having a great time. My Mom, Aunt Debbie, Ellie, Emmit, and I had a fun pajama picnic lunch to finish up our great weekend at home. The kids thought this was great!
