The Sunday before Christmas we headed to Iron Mountain for the annual Jacques family Christmas. Ellie and Emmit had a lot of fun seeing Grandma Donna and Papa Herb and also playing with some of their second cousins.

The night of the 23rd we got together with our friends Suzy, Ryan, and Julianna for a pre-Christmas dinner. We had a TON of food, but it was so good and lasted us for 2 days =)

On Christmas Day we headed to the UP again to see family. We spent Christmas Day with my family, had a great meal at Grandma's, and just relaxed and had fun.

The day after Christmas then, we headed to Pomeroy's to continue the Christmas celebrations. The kids really played great together this year. Last year I remember there being lots of crying...this year it was good! =) The adults had fun of course too =)

At one point in the evening, I went down in the basement family room and Matthew and Emmit were down there together. Just the two of them...it was funny...they were just playing, but they each had other people's shoes on =) Emmit had Aidan's on and Matthew had Emmit's on =)
We had fun getting together with our friends the Laginas and also our friends the Carlsons over Christmas break too. We played with our friends Andy, Jack, and Emily at Monkey Joes! It was an action-packed week and a half with friends and family, and we loved every bit of it! =)
