Happy Anniversary / Happy New Year!

We hosted the Kaukola family here on New Years Eve to celebrate the holidays and also to celebrate Grandma and Grandpa's 50th wedding anniversary (Dec. 30th). We had a great time with good food, lots of laughs, and the wonderful company of family =)

So, the kids were pretty much wild, but they had a great time. This is Emmit's new thing lately...throw all the pillows and couch cushions down the stairwell and jump! He's done this a few times now...boys!

This was by far the funniest point of the evening =) This disco ball has seen plenty of party action, but this was definitely a first! Disco ball, strobe lights, and Lady Gaga in our newly finished basement, perfect for New Years! The kids seriously danced for an hour.





The LeBouefs, Luehmanns, Rohdes, and Pomeroys rang in the New Year (Michigan first and then Wisconsin!) late into the evening after the party ended. It was a very fun night! Happy New Year!
