Birthday Party - Take 2

The second weekend in February, we hosted the whole Pomeroy family for another fun-filled birthday weekend! On Friday night we celebrated Ellie's 4th (again) and Aiden's 6th birthday too. On Saturday night we celebrated Papa Herb's 60th. I'll just do the kids in this post and save Papa Herb's party for my next post. Friday night we all spent the night at the Tundra Lodge for some fun in the pool. Everyone was here minus Ashley and Caroline so we had a full crew! We all got to the hotel around 3:00 on Friday afternoon and swam until early evening. We then had pizza, cake, and presents in one of the hotel rooms. Some went swimming again after that, and the rest of us hung out in the room. It was a really fun night. The next morning we swam some more before heading back to our house for Papa Herb's party.

I took the day off so we could get up to the waterpark early. Ellie got up that morning and put her swimsuit on. She wore it all day until we left =)



Wellyn got a few pictures down in the waterpark. I didn't even attempt to bring my camera; it was pretty much impossible. Ellie and Emmit both LOVED the waterslides, but we had to go with them because they are pretty big! They were so brave, we just kept going down, and then up the 3 flights of steps again to the top! It was fun! Ellie also really liked the big water castle with the BIG bucket!
