Fun in May and June!

Well this is going to be a catch-up post since our May and June were so much fun! No time to update this blog lately. It's already mid-July!

We did our annual marathon relay in Green Bay in late May. It was a perfect day for a run!

Ellie and Emmit posing together! They've been doing a lot more of this lately which makes picture taking easier =) They're modeling their new Toms in this one.

Playing at one of our favorite parks, and Ellie is showing how brave she is. Ellie is all about being 'big' lately and testing us to some degree!

Our babysitter graduated from high school this year, and she was the valedictorian out of her class of 280! Good job Lauren!! We were happy to be able to go to her graduation ceremony.

Colin's cousin Dayna got married in early June, so Colin and I got a night out together while the kids went to Grandma and Grandpa's. It was a fun night for everyone!

Brendan was the lucky kid that got to hang with the adults at the wedding. He thought this was pretty cool, and Uncle Colin was helping him learn how to gamble!

Ellie's last day of 4K! She was so excited to 'graduate' from 4K and be a kindergartener!! She has been asking just about every day since 4K ended now when she gets to go to kindergarten. She is missing school and her friends. It won't be long the bus will be coming through the neighborhood again.

Miss Kim and the boys got Ellie a cake to celebrate her last day which she loved =)

Ellie and Emmit ran the Bellin kids run again. They both ran the whole 1/2 mile and had fun doing it!

Julianna joined in too!

I took the kids to breakfast on the farm one weekend (I think Daddy was at Uncle Mike's bachelor party this weekend). They loved it and so did I. The farm we went to did such a great job - it was a really fun morning.

Miss Kim has been doing lots of activities with the kids this summer. They sure do love her!

This was an impromptu fun time in our backyard. We got so much rain in June that the creek behind our house (which normally dries much earlier in the Spring) was running steady! Emmit and our neighbor, Romy, thought it'd be a great night to play in the water. They were both covered in water and mud!

Ellie just watched and shook her head at "those boys!"

Colin also made a trip to New Mexico to spend a weekend with his brother Ashley. Ashley lives in Budapest, Hungary now, but was in the USA for 3 weeks for training. He and Colin had a great time hiking and exploring the hot, hot desert!

And Emmit was THRILLED with his gift from Daddy - rattlesnake poop!! (Aka chocolate covered sunflower seeds) He is still obsessed with his rattlesnake poop over a month later! =)
