Coming back to reality after our wonderful trip to Florida was a downer. We had cold and snow here well into May, but we still found some fun things to do. We visited Grandma and Grandpa for Easter and welcomed another new baby cousin to the family!
This first picture really has no significance to April other than being in my April folder =) Colin and I thought this was so funny...it was a picture Ellie drew at school. She was learning about poetry, and 'Soft Kitty' was a song Colin had sung to Ellie at bedtime before (Big Bang fans will know this!) Ellie wrote this poem at school which we thought was so clever =)
Translation: Soft puppy, warm puppy, little ball of fluff. Happy puppy, silly puppy, ruff, ruff, ruff. =)
We took a break from swimming lessons during the freezing cold months, so the boys were happy to get back at it in the Spring!
Yeah! We have a new cousin! Sara and Matt welcomed baby Reese on April 18th =)
For Easter, we went to Grandma Sharon's and Grandpa Steve's. The Luehmann family was there too so we all had fun, and the Easter Bunny brought good treats too! =)
The weeks after Easter we met baby Reese for the first time. The kids love holding their little cousins =)
Ellie wrote another book about her new baby cousins, Charlie and Reese =) Another keeper =)
