33 weeks

6 weeks, 6 days and counting!! It won't be long before Baby Girl is here! We had another Dr. check-up today, and things are still looking good. Heart rate was around 130, she's still big, and she's head-down ready to go! The Dr. thought that her head was pretty much right between my hips which explains why my hips have been so achy laying on my side at night. Her head is putting a lot of pressure down there. This week I've discovered sleeping in the recliner which has helped tremendously! My tossing and turning all throughout the night wasn't doing me (or Colin) any good.

We finished up our childbirth education classes on Monday night. So, of course, now we know everything there is to know about child birth - yeah right! I'm not that naive, although we can both say we know more now than before we took the classes and have a little better idea of what to expect.

One more day of work this week, and Christmas weekend is here! We'll be heading to the UP to spend 4+ days bouncing between the Pomeroy and Boyer family functions. Holidays are always a fun time with family for us. I've already been enjoying the Christmas cookies way too much! The 'eating for two' logic eases the guilt, but I'll probably be paying for it in January! Oh well...

Other exciting news...our friends Jamie and Mike Mayo are expecting a second addition to their family - a new little brother or sister for Nathan. They've jumped on the blog bandwagon - check out The Mayo Family on our friend links.

And, today we found out that the second Pomeroy family baby of 2008 (Levi and Lindsey's) will be a baby boy! They had their ultrasound today, and everything is looking great! We're going to have to toughen our little one up to play with all her boy cousins!
