Suzy and I before the shower started.

The Boyer sisters all together.

This time with mom =)

Shannon and Kellie showing their cooking skills.
My friend Jen and her husband, Matt, drove up from Peoria, IL to see us for the weekend. Here's Jen at work in the kitchen!
My mom, Anita, and Marijo rockin' the stromboli station!

Me with some of my close friends from work, Jennifer, Tatum, and 3 of the 4 LeMinh girls (Lisa, Lauren, and Allison)
Me with our friends, the Goulet girls (Chris, Lauren, and Hannah)
My old college roomie, Jamie, her husband Mike, and their son, Nathan, drove over for the weekend from Ann Arbor, MI.
My sister-in-law, Sue, made the trek from Minneapolis.
Not your typical shower game...my sister, Sara, found this on the Internet...everyone puts a bag on their head, and then proceeds to take off 'things they don't need'...it took about 3 rounds of jewelry and shoes before Tatum won, realizing that you don't really NEED a bag on your head!!
The LeMinh girls decorating a onesie.

We got some other great gifts for Baby Girl in addition to all the food...here's our bouncer to soothe her to sleep =)

And another beautiful quilt, hand-made by Jamie.

I didn't get this at first, but Steph and Sara made this onesie. Apparently it's a song, and judging by the lyrics (I Got It From My Mama), I'm guessing it's not the most 'baby-appropriate' song =)

The whole group.
AND, this didn't happen at the shower, but more exciting news from the weekend!!!!! Baby Girl will have a new UNCLE next December! My sister, Shannon, and her boyfriend (now fiance!), Andy, got engaged on Saturday night! We're very excited for their big day and so happy for the two of them!! Here's a picture of the newly engaged couple on their big night (all dressed up for a Christmas party).

It looks like you had a great time at your shower! You will really appreciate having all those frozen meals for after Baby girl comes. Please tell Shannon and Andy congrats on their engagement. I am so happy for them!
