Crawling - no more inchworm! He's really quick now and loves being chased around the house.
Pulling up - onto everything, a favorite being in the bathtub. He is quickly learning the meaning of 'sit down'.
Biting - 4 new top teeth came in this past month, and he's all about putting 'em to work now. His favorite targets seem to be Mama's shoulder - he thinks it's SOOO funny to bite my shoulder and will sometimes just grab my shirt between his teeth. It's a game to get a reaction out of me. Little bugger has got me good a few times. When you're sitting, he also likes to pull up on your knees and chomp down...watch out!
Scooting - along furniture and with a little toy walker. He's definitely more mobile now.
Terrorizing - with his new-found mobility...Emmit has become the master at bugging Ellie. We probably heard 'No Emmit' more this last month than ever before! He's into all her stuff now, and always within a couple feet. It's funny watching them interact...this whole boy-girl thing will be new to both Colin and I =)
Emmit babbles Mamamama and Dadada..I think he's connecting who's who. He also loves to yell in response to Ellie. They have little yelling matches at times. Emmit loves to dance to music - he'll rock in a sitting position now or bounce while standing up. He's liking stories more and continues to eat everything in sight. My most favorite thing now is Emmit's little kisses. If you ask for a kiss, he'll come at you with a big open mouth and just lay one on you. I love it! He's our lovey little guy! =)
