Super Bowl Picnic

Super Bowl Sunday was a fun day in our house. Emmit had pink eye so we didn't attend the neighborhood party, but instead had our own party with a picnic on the living room floor. The kids thought this was very fun having grilled cheese, chips, bananas, and taco dip in the living room. We covered the floor with blankets and let them go nuts - it was fun! They didn't really watch much (any) of the game, but Ellie thought the halftime show was fun to dance to. I was the good wife and let Colin watch the game while I put the kids to bed, and then caught the 4th quarter myself. Perfect amount of football for me and the Packers won - better yet living in Wisconsin! =) After several weeks of Green & Gold madness, it's died down a bit (just a bit), but Emmit continues to cheer 'Go Pack Go' on a daily basis! =)
