Yes and No - she's a master at the head nod and even uses NO in the right context (like when she doesn't want anymore food)
Where's your tongue? - which promptly results in her sticking out her tongue!
Hi, Mama, Daddy...she was kind of saying these things before, but HI is definately loud and clear now (and she says it to EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE). We get lots of smiles from random strangers when we're out in public. Mama is more like Mamamamama, but Daddy is pretty good. We even get 'Hi Daddy' at times.
Ellie loves her books and continues to love turning the pages. Lift the flap books are her favorite right now, but we need to work on lifting the flaps gently as some of the books are taking a beating.
Clapping her hands when someone else does or when you say 'Good job!'
She got 1 more tooth putting her grand total at 8 (4 on top and 4 on bottom).
She loves getting into the cupboards - pots, pans, and tupperware being her favorite.
She DOES NOT love getting her fingernails clipped. While this was never that bad before, it now results in full-blown temper tantrums. The only place I can clip her nails these days is in the car when she's sleeping.
It's hard to believe her first birthday is right around the corner!
Walking girl
She got these flower legos for Christmas and thinks it's really funny to put them on her mouth and stick her tongue out the hole!

Where's your tongue?

Here with her new monkey that Auntie Shannon and Uncle Andy got her in Jamaica (which is quite possibly the most annoying toy ever!) You can see she's getting a little hair now too =)

I burst out laughing reading the part about her saying hi to everyone! Andy has been telling everyone the story of how he was helping her pick up her food in her high chair and she leaned over and screamed HIIII at him! She's so darn cute! And, the monkey is not annoying cause I would never do that to Colin!!! :)
Absolutely love the tongue coming through the flower - that is hilarious! I remember Brendan screaming 'HI' at people in Target, repeatedly, until they acknowledge him - not at all concerned they were half a store away! It's just a fun age!
