Emmit is 3 months old! I can't say there's too much different to report between 2 and 3 months. He still has a wonderful little personality, continues to be very easy going, and smiles all the time. The one milestone that may be very quickly approaching is rolling over. He's trying REALLY hard right now and sometimes gets quite frustrated. Emmit is a big boy - wearing a lot of 6 month clothes already. The chubby rolls just keep coming! =) He likes to talk when you talk to him, sit up and look around, and stand on your lap (with help of course). His eyes are getting darker; not brown yet, but maybe on their way. Emmit's good sleeping habits pretty much went out the door with the start of daycare (he's a nosy one like his sister was and doesn't like to sleep during the day!). Someday we'll get back to good sleep in our house, but I'm not getting my hopes up until January. With all the travel and holiday hustle and bustle in the next month and a half...we're going to just be taking things one day at a time until then! We got Emmit's first professional pics to celebrate 3 months - they certainly show off his cuteness and just HOW much he looks like big sister.

Like we did with Ellie, we had a little bare chest collage put together. It's amazing how much they look alike in these pictures.
Emmit - 3 months

Ellie - 3 months

And 'tis the season, we incorporated some family photos into this photo shoot as well. Our first good family picture and one of the kids too. And of course, one of the rare times I do put Ellie in a dress and you can't even tell in the picture (it's a cute dress too!) And, she wouldn't keep her headband on (she wasn't the most cooperative picture taker this day)...so, she may look a little boyish to those that don't know her, but to me, her face is that of a beautiful baby girl with a perfect smile in both pictures! =)
