7 Months Old!

Emmit is 7 months old! This last month was another one of milestones for Mr. Emmit. The biggest one being that he is now ON THE MOVE! Not crawling exactly, but moving like a little inch worm across the floor. Nothing is out of reach anymore. He is so funny when he gets determined. Emmit has 2 teeth now – both bottom front. He can sure chomp down! He continues to like to eat everything and has recently mastered little finger foods. He loves Puffs and Cheerios, and Ellie insists that he likes Lucky Charms as she continues to try and feed them to him. We will experiment with more foods now as he’s got the finger/hand motion down. He drinks his bottles like he hasn’t drank anything in days – he puts both hands on the bottle and pulls it to his mouth. One thing that Emmit has not done so well this last month is sleep, ugh! We are looking to make some adjustments that will hopefully help – more to come on that. He loves to watch Ellie run around. It’s almost like I can read his mind – he just cannot WAIT to be running around too. He has a sparkle in his eye like he’s waiting for that day. I recently ordered new car seats because it’s time to ditch the infant carrier! He is TOO heavy! Emmit is roley and happy and makes us smile every day. He’s a lovable little chunk right now!
