Going on an Adventure

Last Saturday morning, Ellie, Emmit, Anna, Aunt Debbie, and I went on 'an adventure' all around Grandma and Grandpa's farm. Ellie carried the pail and off we went to see what kind of treasures we could find. The whole time, Ellie was saying, 'we gotta watch out for Swiper the Fox!'

Ellie with her pail

Our first treasure was apples...

Emmit started out the adventure being pushed around in the Cozy Coupe

Around Grandma's house, look at these mushrooms

Ooh, let's find pine cones!

Emmit deciding to walk now

Through the driveway, we can find some rocks...

And by the barn, what do we find, but feathers!

Around the barn we go...

Emmit deciding to help

Closer to the fields, we found hay...

We decided to venture out into the field to find a cricket. We could hear them, but they were hiding pretty good! It ended up just being a good little walk =)

Look how full the pail is getting!

Aunt Debbie and I were taking turns carrying chunk-a-lunk...one of Emmit and I walking along..

Anna and Emmit coming back, what a great big cousin Anna is!

Counting our treasures...Ellie was tuckered out and ready for a nap, so Anna and Emmit counted everything up. What a fun adventure!
