The First Week

A few shots from Emmit's first week. It's pretty tough to get pictures of this little guy with his eyes open...he is sleepy, sleepy, sleepy. When they are open though, he is very alert. His eyes are a deep blue-gray right now, but I think they'll turn brown. Or brown-eyed Mom & Dad could have 2 blue-eyed babies...we'll see =)







One way to wake Emmit up...give him a bath. He's had 2 so far, and NOT a fan! His cord hasn't fallen off yet though, so hopefully once that's gone, being able to enjoy the warmth of the water will make for more peaceful bathtimes.





And doing what he does best.



This isn't a great picture, but at least one of the 3 of us. Ellie was in a Yo Gabba Gabba trance at this point I think.
